Heard of bbPress? It’s one of the simplest and the most robust bulletin board softwares around. Although in early stages, it is quite powerful. I have been slowing trying to make this website less of a blog and so here’s another addition; a forum. I have given it a name as well: Discuss
It’s an easy to use software but I spent a whole day configuring it to add more features, thanks to the plugins. I even had to write some of my own to get what I really wanted. A result: a simple to use forum with the right features. Also, the blog and discuss both are sharing the same user database. So, you logins should work on both sides
I request you to come and participate in the forums. A healthy discussion is always welcome while spam is not

hey! am not sure of bbpress, i like vanilla and vbulletin better. but this one deserves a try, cause a lot of people have been talking about so i guess.

Hi,
Of course vB and other popular boards aren’t in the same league as they are loaded with features. But after going through plugins and writing my own, I realised how powerful bbPress actually is!
If it gets a developer base like Wordpress, it will pose a serious risk to the major BBs
