I am Swaroop Hegde, a tech geek and cricket fanatic who lives just outside Manipal, a university town located in south-east Asia. I fell in (everlasting) love with computers when I was just five. Although I’ve been a windows user for 15 years, I switched to Mac OSX early last year – still Linux on servers. At 23, I own a respectable company, have worked on many exciting websites along with our company’s software products & services.
Our company is based in WI, USA. Although my main job is to take care of the software development and the Presence team, I also handle billing and technical support. I am also in charge of the office in India. I drink, eat and sleep code.
I have a rather unbiased taste in music & listen to it most times, especially when I am working. Photography has always been one of my favourite hobbies but it’s been years since I’ve taken out me camera for some actual shots. Cricket is my only religion (apart from being born Hindu) and Sachin Tendulkar is God. Cars & bikes are my passions – I drive a Suzuki Swift & ride a Hero Honda CBZ when I feel the need for some adrenalin.
