About
I am Swaroop Hegde, a.k.a. Swap, who lives just outside an Indian University town named Manipal located in South East Asia. I recently switched to Macintosh (Linux at work) after a 15 year attachment with Windows. At 22, I own a respectable company, built countless software products and manage an anti-piracy wing, thanks to my early love towards computers.
To clarify, I am one of the owners of Racked Hosting LLC. Although my main job is to take care of the software development and the Presence team, I also handle billing and technical support. My skills include but not limited to Advanced PHP-MySQL Programming, administration of *NIX servers, cPanel administration and web designing.
Apart from my company, I also represent phpFoX, a social networking software company where I manage the Anti-Piracy department. It’s different from what I do otherwise but a fun job.
Although a workaholic, I never say no to parties. Music keeps me company otherwise. I am not hooked to a particular genré but I prefer Rock when I’m not in a good mood 
I love photography and trying very hard to get back into it.
I am a tech geek and passionate about cricket, cars & bike. I own a neat ride, a Suzuki Swift and crave to ride a real sports bike some day. I am a big movie buff (when I do get time to watch them).
